Who we are

King AI & Automation Ltd is registered in Scotland (SC787231) and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO Reg: ZB625690). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect and why

We collect personal data in the following ways:

• Email address: when you subscribe to our newsletter or request our free guide. Lawful basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking Unsubscribe in any email we send.
• Name and contact details: when you book a call or enquire about our services. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR), specifically to respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential engagement.
• Business information you share: during discovery calls or project scoping. Held only for the purpose of delivering your project.
• Usage data (analytics): if you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect information about how you use this site — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found us. Lawful basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and PECR). Analytics cookies are not set unless you accept them, and you can withdraw consent at any time (see Cookies below).

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies (small files stored in your browser that keep the site functioning) and, only with your consent, analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4. Consent is collected and managed by Cookiebot: when you first visit, no analytics cookies are set until you actively accept them.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time on our Cookie Policy page, which also contains an automatically updated list of every cookie in use on this site.

We also use localStorage (not cookies) to prevent the newsletter popup from appearing more than once per device. This data never leaves your browser.

Third-party services

• Google Analytics 4: with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site. Google LLC acts as our data processor. GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses. Data may be processed on Google servers outside the UK/EEA under Google's standard contractual clauses and the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. • Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S): manages cookie consent on this site and stores your consent choice so we can demonstrate compliance. See their privacy policy at usercentrics.com/privacy-policy.
• Brevo (Sendinblue): we use Brevo to store email subscribers and send newsletters. Brevo processes data in the EU. You can view their privacy policy at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
• Google Fonts: loaded from Google's servers. Google may log your IP address as part of font delivery. See Google's privacy policy for details.
• Cal.com: used for booking discovery calls. When you book a call, Cal.com processes your name, email, and scheduling data. See Cal.com's privacy policy for details.

How long we keep your data

• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Enquiry and client data: up to 6 years after the end of any engagement, for legal and accounting purposes.
• Analytics data (Google Analytics 4): event-level data is retained for a maximum of 14 months, then deleted automatically.
• Cookie consent records (Cookiebot): 12 months, after which you will be asked for consent again.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent at any time (for consent-based processing) — for cookies, use the change-consent option on our Cookie Policy page
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
